He continues to explore a wide range of musical styles as his interests in composing, producing, and scoring for visual media deepen.
Early Years:
Aadhitya was first introduced to music when his father first enrolled him in piano lessons at the age of 3 with the Yamaha Music School in Paramus, New Jersey. He began with classical piano training with esteemed teachers who graduated from profound music institutions such as the Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, Berklee College of Music, and many more. One of his teachers helped him pick up composition at a young age, leading him to compose his first piece for solo piano titled "The Lion's Favorite Fruit" at the age of 5. Having participated in his school band in elementary school, he learned how to play the recorder, clarinet, trombone, and baritone. He also received his first experience of arranging music when he was given the opportunity to rewrite pop music for the band and choir in his 5th grade graduation.
Middle School / High School:
Aadhitya continued his journey with classical piano throughout middle school and high school, while also being introduced to new genres such as Indian Classical (Carnatic) and Jazz. Having acquired this new experience, he was able to apply it to his school as well, having participated as the lead pianist for both his middle school jazz band and his high school top jazz band. Aadhitya continued with his compositional experience both inside and outside school, gaining experience in arranging music for a full orchestra during his middle school graduation, while also writing his first piece, titled "Addio" dedicated to his late high school band director at his senior band recital. Aadhitya also was the lead synth for his high school's marching band, and in his senior year, he was the Rhythm Section Captain along with the co-arranger for his Pit Section's music. Their highest ranking was 3rd at the Regional Bands of America Competition in 2022.
Outside of School:
Aadhitya has accomplished numerous awards in both a compositional and performance aspect, helping him perform at prestigious venues all across the world, such as Carnegie Hall, Ehrbar Saal (Vienna, Austria), Teatro la Nuova Fenice (Osimo Italy), New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), Cerritos Performing Arts Theater (LA) and Sharp Theater. He also performs for local temples and churches, often as a solo artist. He continues to expand his musical range to all genres of music, having ventured in the modern rap and hip-hop genres today as well as understanding musical comprehension of the Middle Ages and beyond.
Besides Music:
In his spare time, Aadhitya loves listening to music, playing video games, watching anime and playing with his little brother. He also enjoys helping out with his community in helping organize local parties and gatherings for friends and families.
